Day
01 KUALA LUMPUR ARRIVAL
On
arrival transfer to the impressive Renaissance
Wing for 3 nights stay.
Day 02 KUALA LUMPUR
After
breakfast, start the morning with a Capital City
sightseeing. From its humble beginnings as a tin-mining
town, Kuala Lumpur which actually means "Muddy
Estuary" in Bahasa Malaysia has developed
by leaps and bounds, and is today an exciting
blend of colonial and modern architecture. City
Highlights includes Cultural Craft Complex, Merdeka
Square, the Malayan Railway Station, the National
Monument, the National Museum and the King's Palace.
Return to The Renaissance Wing for overnight.

Day 03 KUALA LUMPUR
After
breakfast, proceed for a day tour to Malacca,
a 2 hour drive away. Upon arrival, go around the
historical city of Malacca, visiting major attractions
including St. Paul's Hill, the renowned Porta
De Santiago, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple and Jonkers
Street where you can hunt antique souvenirs. Stop
for lunch at one of the local Peranakan Restaurant
(on pax account). Return to Kuala Lumpur for overnight
stay at the Renaissance Wing. (Breakfast)
Day 04 KUALA LUMPUR TO CAMERON HIGHLANDS (350KM)
After
an early breakfast, leave your hotel for journey
north to the hill resort of Cameron Highlands
(about 4 hours). Enroute pass through historic
towns of Slim River before arriving into Tapah
town, foothills of Cameron Highlands. Wind our
way up to 5000 ft above sea level. Along this
gradual climb, visit to a bamboo basket weaving
craft, stop at Iskandar waterfalls, meet aborigines
on their hunting trip armed with blowpipes, passing
gurgling jungle streams before arriving at your
hotel for check-in at approximately 12.30 pm.
Break for lunch in the hotel. This afternoon,
you driver/guide will take you on a tour of Cameron
Highlands covering Rose Garden, tea plantation,
vegetable farms. Rest of evening at leisure. Check-in
at your hotel & rest of the at leisure. Overnight
at The Lakehouse or similar. (Breakfast)

Day 05 CAMERON HIGHLANDS Day
at leisure. You may wish to explore this resort
area or simply be revived by the fresh cool air.
A light sweater is recommended on cool evenings.

Day 06 CAMERON HIGHLANDS TO PENANG (283 KM)
After
breakfast, your day begins with a pleasant drive
downhill to Tapah and northwards to Ipoh - the city
of millionaires which made its fortune from the
rich tin mines of Kinta Valley, the heart of tin
dredging in Malaysia. You will visit one of the
famous Cave Temples in Ipoh followed by lunch at
a local restaurant. Travel north, we will visit
Kellie's castle which is built by the Scottish rubber
tycoon before proceeding to Kuala Kangsar to visit
the unique Ubudiah Mosque - a magnificent building
with golden dome, and the former palace of the Sultan
of Perak with its intricate wood carvings. Continuing
to Province Wellesley you will cross the Penang
Bridge (spanning 13.5km - the longest bridge in
Asia and the third in the world) into the island
of Penang. Overnight at Mutiara Beach Resort or
similar. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 07 PENANG
This morning, you will be taken for an orientation
tour round the island. Penang or Pulau Pinang means
"Island of Betelnut Palms" - was once a pirates'
hideout. It came under the British control in 1786.
History has it that Francis Light fired gold coins into
the air and the people around scrambled to recover them
- thus clearing the area for settlement. Born as a crossroads
for traders from Arabs to Europeans, Gujeratis to Chinese
and nearby islanders, Penang is today a mini Asia in
a nutshell ! Visit the Batik Factory (a local cottage
industry), Butterfly Farm (about 5,000 tropical butterflies
of over 100 species), interesting heritage of the city
of Georgetown. Visit the Khoo Kongsi, a Chinese clanhouse
with intricately etched roofs and eaves. Adjourn to
Lebuh Kapitan Keling or Street of Harmony, laden with
small jewellery & antique shops and landmarks like
the Kapitan Keling Mosque with its domes, turrets and
minarets; the Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple, dedicated
to Lord Subramaniam; Goddess of Mercy (Kuan Yin) Temple,
built in 1800; St. George's Church, oldest Anglican
Church in the region. Other highlights include Penang
Museum and the Reclining Buddha Temple. Lunch at a local
restaurant in Georgetown before returning to the hotel.
The rest of the day free at leisure to bask in the sun
or just lay back along the beach.(Breakfast,Lunch)
Day 08 PENANG
A day for relaxation on the beach or optional sightseeing.
Overnight at Mutiara Beach Resort or similar. (Breakfast)
Day 09 PENANG TO KOTA BAHRU (228 KM)
Cross from modern West Coast to traditional East Coast
of Peninsular Malaysia. This journey to Kota Bahru transverses
changing terrain and lifestyles. Stop by a padi field
when you pass through the rice bowl of Malaysia , the
state of Kedah. Lunch (on pax account) at Grik town
before we journey across the central mountain range
to the flat lands of Kelantan state. Its capital was
for a long time isolated the rest of the peninsular
except by sea. Kota Bahru has become one of the nation’s
storehouse of culture and traditional skill. Arrive
into Kota Bahru in the afternoon to discover the unchanged.

Day
10 KOTA BAHRU TO KUALA TERANGGANU (228 KM)
In
the morning , visit a handicraft centre to witness the
drawing of batik and the weaving of the songket, the
distinctive Malaysian brocade , which Kelantan is famous
for. Journey south into Trengganu. Lunch (on pax account)
at a hilltop restaurant in Kuala Trengganu, the state
capital overlooking the South China Sea. View a sea-lover’s
paradise of unspoiled beaches. From July to September
annually, giant leatherback turtles return to the beach
near the hotel to lay their eggs, each time swimming
all the way across the pacific Ocean. You may wish to
arrange a taxi or hotel shuttle to go to Dungun to watch
this natural activity (the transfer will be payable
directly by clients). Overnight at Primula Parkroyal.

Day 11 KUALA TERENGGANU
At
leisure beside the South China Sea. Overnight at Primula

12 KUALA TERENGGANU TO KUANTAN (149 KM)
Leave
Kuala Terengganu and continue southwards to Kuantan
, located in Pahang , the largest state in Malaysia.
Vast tracts of forest form the National Park. Fishing
and village handicrafts are maintained. Arrive into
Kuantan. Rest of the day to enjoy the beach and sunshine.
Overnight at Hyatt Kuantan or similar.(Breakfast)
Day 13 KUANTAN
Go
on a Kuantan & Village Tour, with time to relax
by the pool or on the beach. (Breakfast)
Day 14 KUANTAN
Free
at Leisure. Overnight at Hyatt Kuantan or similar.(Breakfast)
Day 15 KUANTAN TO KUALA LUMPUR
Departure
transfer to the airport for your onward to Kuala Lumpur
or return flight.(Breakfast)
